At the invitation of the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research (MIR), NEXT-EM dooel attended the National Science Communication Competition which was held on May 6, 2026 in the Public Room, starting at 11 a.m. The National Science Communication Competition is within the framework of the STREAM-IT project. The event rounds off the mentoring program dedicated to developing scientific communication skills among students and young researchers from various STEM fields. This event represents the final phase of the program, in which participants, with the support of their mentors, presented their research and ideas to a jury and an audience, with a focus on clear, understandable and effective scientific communication. Emilija Andonova, Program Manager, and Mia Botinova Dimitrova, Communications Officer from @Foundation for Management and Industrial Research, presented Project Stream It and the mentoring program, providing a brief overview of the program, mentors, jury, and evaluation criteria. The event began with an introductory speech by Prof. Dr. Zvonko Pacanoski (Faculty of Agriculture – Skopje), with a clear message that science should be communicated in a way that is understood. This
is exactly what this competition focuses on – to encourage a new generation that knows how to not only create knowledge, but also share it in a way that inspires.
