National Forum

At the invitation of Civica Mobilitas, NEXT-EM dooel was present at the National Forum which was held on November 15, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, and organized by Civica Mobilitas in cooperation with the Government. The welcoming address at the forum was given by the Ambassador of Switzerland, H.E. Veronique Ullmann, and the main speakers at the event were: Hristijan Mickoski, Prime Minister; Aleksandar Krzhalovski, leader of the Civica Mobilitas team; and Igor Janushev, Secretary General of the Government. In addition to them, the following also debated with the representatives of civil society organizations: Izet Medziti, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning; Vesna Janevska, Minister of Education; Zlatko Perinski, Minister of Local Self-Government; Zoran Ljutkov, Minister of Culture; and Stefan Andonovski, Minister of Digital Transformation. NE The Ambassador of Switzerland, Veronique Ullmann, referred to the support of the Swiss Government for civil society and emphasized that despite the achievements, challenges remain. The Ambassador emphasized that jointly overcoming these challenges will contribute to establishing the necessary conditions for civil society to become a credible partner of the state. The Prime Minister of the Government of Hristijan Mickoski emphasized in his address that he is convinced that in dialogue with civil society organizations, better quality decisions for changes in society can be made. He also added that between this and the next event, activities that will be agreed should be implemented. Improving trust between the Government and civil society organizations and in society in general is one of the key issues according to Aleksandar Kržalovski, leader of the Civica Mobilitas team.
