Integrity at the core of digital transformation
The Internet and Society Foundation, Metamorphosis, organized the 21st edition of the international conference e-Society.mk, which was held on December 10, 2025 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Skopje, with the participation of NEXT-EM dooel. The conference was opened by Bardil Jashari, Executive Director of the Metamorphosis Foundation, Stefan Andonovski, Minister of Digital Transformation, Ben Nupnau, Deputy Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union, Jantine van Bakel, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Christophe Le Rigoleur, Ambassador of the Republic of France. This year, the conference was dedicated to the theme Integrity at the Core of Digital Transformation, exploring how rapid technological advances are reshaping democratic resilience, human rights, and societal trust in an increasingly interconnected world. The topics focused on Resilience to information and cyber threats as a factor of stability and security in the region, Human integrity in the age of artificial intelligence, Democratization of data — Power, access and responsibility, Fraud in the digital age: challenges for citizens and institutions, as well as a brief presentation of the first National Center for Artificial Intelligence Vezilka. The “e- Society.mk” conference is organized by the Metamorphosis Foundation within the framework of the “Center Against Disinformation in the Western Balkans” project funded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
