Third Annual IGF MKD Forum 2019

At the Invitation of the IGF MKD – Internet Governance Forum Macedonia , NEXT-EM dooel attended the Тhird Annual Internet Governance Forum IGF MKD, which is a national initiative within the structure of the global The Global Internet Governance Forum. The event was held on October 28, 2019, at Makedonski Telekom AD starting at 11:00.

IGF MKD (Internet Governance Forum for Macedonia) is an open, inclusive and informal space for dialogue on Internet governance issues between all stakeholders in the Macedonian society, government, parliamentarians, private sector, civil society and the technical community, education, media , end users, etc. They had welcoming remarks Nikola Ljushev, Chief Executive Officer of Makedonski Telekom AD, Robert Popovski, Minister in charge of Communications, Accountability and Transparency, Aleksandar Bajdevski, Deputy Minister MISA, Snezana Kaleska Vanceva, MP in the Assembly and Sandra Hoferichter, EuroDIG, Secretary general. The event had several parts: Panel 1 – Media – Media Literacy / Regulation – Self-Regulation – Fighting Misinformation, then there was Retrospective, so Panel 2 – Legal aspects of IG –  intellectual property, human rights, personal data protection and last Panel 3 – Technical technological and cyber security. All panels were presented by top experts in their field as well as discussion with the guests present, their questions, answers, suggestions.
