The Internet and Society Foundation - Metamorphosis organized a conference on Dealing with Disinformation, which was held on May 31, 2022. starting at 12 o'clock in Hotel Panoramika in Skopje. The event is dedicated to building a multi-sectoral approach to addressing this important issue through joint engagement of state institutions, independent media, civil society organizations, academia and the private sector.

The conference provided a platform for discussion of stakeholders working to develop democracy by combating misinformation and promoting freedom of expression. The conference was attended by representatives of relevant institutions, the professional public, civil society and the international community. The event had two working sessions. The first session presented and discussed the results of ongoing research on the situation in order to better understand the context, while the second session discussed the recommendations for next steps of various social actors to jointly counter the harmful effects on the development of democracy and integration processes. Each session had an introductory panel with short speeches by the speakers and a space for discussion by all participants. The conference was opened by Mr. Stevo Pendarovski, President of RNM, and Mr. Dimitar Kovacevski, Prime Minister, had his video address. At the invitation of Metamorphosis, NEXT-EM dooel also had its presence.
