European Policy Institute(EPI) organized a presentation on the role of trade unions, which took place on September 25, 2020. starting at 11.00 in Ragusa360 - Rooftop in Skopje. The event was opened by Simonida Kacarska, Director of EPI. Vildan Drpljanin spoke at the event about association, confusion or abuse - The role of trade unions in the protection of workers and Kire Vasilev on how to strengthen the role of trade unions in the protection of workers' rights.

After the presentation, a discussion was opened on the topics, with panelists Aneta Cekic (Institute for Sociological and Political Legal Studies) and Katerina Popovska (SSM), where all participants could join the discussion with their questions and comments. The research was conducted within the project "Active Civic Action for Democracy". Within this project, six researches are being prepared, on topics that emerged from last year's debate survey. NEXT-EM dooel also had its presence at the event.
