Encouraging social rights
The Institute for European Policy – EPI, organized a presentation of the report on fundamental rights of the Agency for Fundamental Rights of the European Union for 2022, which took place on June 29, 2022. starting at 10 am, at the Hotel “DoubleTree by Hilton” in Skopje. For the third year in a row, as part of FRANET, EPI prepares the contribution to the annual report on fundamental rights of the Agency.
Introductory speeches were given by the Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr. Agim Nuhiu and the Director of the Institute for European Policy – EPI, Ms. Simonida Kacarska, as well as Goran Miletic from Serbia, a representative of the Civil Rights Defenders. In addition to presenting the findings, the panelists also discussed the main thematic focus of this report – the impact of the pandemic on social rights. The panel discussion was addressed by Ms. Biljana Kotevska, Ms. Nesime Salioska, Ms. Gordana Lazetic and Ms. Aleksandra Bogdanovska, moderated by Ms. Uranija Pirovska. At the invitation of EPI, NEXT-EM dooel also had its presence.
