"Critical thinking for Mediawise Citizens – CriThink"
Foundation for Internet and Society – Metamorphosis and Center for European Strategies Eurothink had a presentation on the project “Critical thinking for Mediawise Citizens – CriThink”, which is implemented in the next 3 years with the support of the European Union. The event was held on June 1, 2018 (Friday) at 11 am in the Holiday Inn Hotel in Skopje, the Living Room.
The purpose of the meeting is through the presentation of the project to foster cooperation in the field of development of critical thinking and media literacy in the spirit of openness and cooperation of all stakeholders. In doing so, the project team presented the basic elements of the project to the public and announced the first call for small grants. Representatives of the project team concisely explained the project’s goals and expectations. The event was attended by Filip Stojanovski, Program Director, Metamorphosis Foundation, Head of the project CriThink – Presentation of the project: goals and envisaged activities, Goran Lazarov, Project Coordinator, EUROTHINK – Presentation of the Small Grants Scheme, Emilija Petreska-Kamenyarova, Head of the Human Rights and Media Literacy Unit at the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services of the Republic of Macedonia – Importance of Media Literacy and the National Media Literacy Network of the Republic of Macedonia and Ljupco Petkovski, Executive Director of Eurothink. Finally, a discussion followed and answered the questions from the audience.
