Analysis "Implementation of ECHR decisions in the period 2013-2016"
Open Society Foundation Macedonia on December 14, 2017, at 12: 00h at the Aleksandar Palace Hotel in Congress Hall II, promoted the analysis “Implementation of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in the period 2013-2016”.
The promotion of the analysis was followed by a debate, speakers at the event were Ms. Gordana Lazetic, professor at the Faculty of Law and member of the Board of the Open Society Macedonia Foundation, as well as the authors of the analysis, Ms. Mirjana Najcevska and Mr. Sashko Todorovski and the associate of the analysis Mr. Darko Pavlovski, and Mrs. Betsy Apple, Director of Advocacy for the Rule of Law Department at the New York-based Open Society Justice Initiative, addressed the meeting. The analysis, on the one hand, aims to complete the overview of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) that refer to Macedonia (through the prism of their execution), and on the other hand aims to draw up development trends related to by acting in the ECHR (both from the aspect of the areas in which procedures are initiated by the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and from the aspect of the recommendations given or arising from the decisions of the ECHR).
