AEC - International Regulatory Conference
At the invitation of the Agency for electronic communications, the management team of NEXT-EM Ltd. attended the International Regulators Conference from 16 to May 18, 2011 in Hotel Metropol – Ohrid.
The conference invited representatives of institutions and companies from Macedonia and the region whose work is related to the electronic communications market. This three-day conference was opened by the Director of the Agency for Electronic Communications, Mr. Robert Ordanoski. On the conference there were representatives from regulatory bodies from several neighboring countries, among which: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Albania and Turkey. The Agency for Electronic Communications said that in future they plan this conference to expand with guests from all over South East and Western Europe.
The conference featured 11 presentations in the field of electronic communications as part of the activities. But this conference is not only consisted of presenting the achievements of the Agency for electronic communications, but also acceptance of international experiences.
The state of the electronic communications market in Macedonia, number portability, Atlas of telecommunications infrastructure and protection of the rights of users of electronic communications market, are just some of the topics that participants actively discussed.
Active participation in the part of the presentations was made by the technical director of NEXT-EM with his presentation on “The evolution of the telecommunications market, 2008-2011”
